Description : Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Insurance Claims Specialist to join their team.

The Medical Insurance Claims Specialist will be responsible for processing and managing medical insurance claims, at times, verifying patient information, and communicating with insurance providers to facilitate timely and accurate reimbursement.

More specific duties may include :

• Work Insurance collection accounts as needed and posting the necessary adjustments daily.
• Work incoming mail
• Stay current on Insurance, Managed Care, and other changes including CPT and ICD coding, global, and CCI guidelines
• Answer patient questions concerning insurance or billing issues, as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of claims, payments, and adjustments in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals of the company.
