Lock City NY, Inc. is Hiring a Low Voltage Technician Near New York, NY

Low Voltage Technician

Lock City is a fast-growing lock, door, and security company and we are seeking a full-time Low Voltage Technician.

The successful candidates will be integral members of our team as we expand. The company is based in Great Neck. Our jobs are in the 5 boroughs and Long Island.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation and service of CCTV, Access Control Systems, Intercom Systems, and other low-voltage systems.

Lock City provides a company van fully equipped with tools, materials, and inventory.

Compensation and Benefits
Attractive compensation based on experience
Two Weeks of Paid Vacation per Year

Job Requirements
Must have a valid Driver’s License, and clean driving record, and transportation
Team player with excellent communication skills
Responsible for having the appropriate tools needed to complete jobs
Command of the English language
Self-starter and able to work independently
Perform all work assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with safety standards

Nice to have: general locksmith skills including repairing and installing locks. OSHA Certified.

Skills Needed and Responsibilities
Ability to install, test, and configure low voltage systems including CCTV, access control systems, intercom and alarm systems
Perform maintenance, inspections, and installations
Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues on security systems including shorts, opens, communication issues, and reconfiguring devices.
Ability to pull low-voltage wire, test/terminate, installs equipment
Ability to install conduit and molding with clean runs
Must have familiarity with networking, routers, etc.
Ability to pull, splice and terminate wires
Familiar with general test equipment and tools

Work Location:
Multiple locations throughout NY Metro and Long Island as assigned
