LMG HealthCare is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Mountain View, CA
Job Summary : The Medical Assistant performs a variety of functions such as answering telephone calls, relaying messages, verifying patientsâ demographics and insurance information, and scheduling appointments.
Additionally, the MA will perform back-office duties such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and review patientsâ medical records to assist with patient inquiries.
Urology ClinicLocation : Mountain View (Must go to Los Gatos Clinic 1-2 days per week)Must know EPIC-very busy clinic.These individuals must be very comfortable seeing genitalia, urine, specimens, etc.
Qualifications : High school diploma or GED certificate.Current CPR Certification.Completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Requires a minimum 1 year of experience in an ambulatory care environment as a Medical Assistant.Proficiency with an electronic medical records (EMR) system (preferably Epic).
Demonstrated ability to room patients, take and accurately document vital signs, administer injections, and maintain medical records.
Optimum team player must be able to multi-task and consistently practice positive patient relations and customer service.
Education : High School
Certification : Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
