Minimum Qualifications : (MA) High School diploma or equivalent.MA Diploma : Satisfactory completion of a formal Medical Assistant program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health ProfessionsCT CPRSix (6) month's experience in an outpatient setting as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Medical terminology, familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding procedures and reference tools, and pharmacology appropriate to the Medical Assistant scope.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.Familiarity with an electronic practice management system is preferred Duties;

Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms.Record patient history, vital signs, and other pertinent information.

Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures.Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

Perform basic laboratory tests such as urine analysis, blood glucose monitoring, and throat swabs.Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers.

Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
