Essential Job Functions
- Monitor vehicle inspections in ticketing platform to identify service work needed.
- Prioritize vehicles by urgency of service needed.
- Monitor time approvals in ticketing system and payroll system.
- Consult with mechanic technicians to determine the nature of vehicle problems and required repairs.
- Monitor parts inventory and ensure correct parts are available.
- Maintain compliance with MDOT inspections.
- Maintain MSHA / OSHA compliance by performing annual inspections on heavy equipment, including cranes.
- Monitor cleanliness of shop to ensure safe operations and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure technicians wear proper PPE and comply with safety procedures.
- Keep paperwork and records neat and organized.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems and automotive software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
