Job Summary: You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Essential Job Functions: Millwright: Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. Welding: Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on a variety of materials. Ensure welding projects meet industry standards and specifications. Inspect and test welds for quality and safety. Maintain welding equipment and tools. Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and procedures. Promote and maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Provide timely reports and updates to supervisors and clients. Preferred Requirements: Proven experience as a Millwright and Welder. Welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred. Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
