POSITION PURPOSE
To positively serve the school/public in communicating information, problem solving, and materials acquisition. Performs general administrative support duties including data collection, scanning, and file maintenance.

SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before parents, staff and students.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to multi-task projects while greeting visitors and staff.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Ability to type accurately and have strong computer skills. Knowledge of Google Suite Applicaitons. Ability to develop effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is almost continuously required to sit, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stand. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and continuously will repeat the same hand, arm or finger motion many times as in typing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is continuously interacting with the staff and students. Strong organizational skills required to facilitate completion of tasks secondary to visitor or student interruptions.
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
