We are supporting our client, an accounting firm based in Tampa, seeking a Tax Manager to grow with their team. 

Schedule:
This position is full time with additional hours required during peak times such as year end and during a client’s external audit.

Location: 
Hybrid position. The primary office is in south Tampa with an office in St. Petersburg. Travel to various client locations within the Tampa Bay area as needed as well.

Job Description

• Review of federal and multi-state tax returns for multiple clients in various industries 

• Management and mentorship of staff, including the Senior Tax Accountant 

• Ensure smooth and positive client relationship-building and meeting deliverables in a timely manner 

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review, preferably in public accounting. Heavy experience in reviewing the work of tax staff. 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA required.

• Self-starter – candidate is expected to manage client relationship without direct supervision and have the ability to work independently.

• Highly organized - candidate is expected to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously and meet assigned deadlines.
