Effectively screens and refers donor related telephone calls and triages these calls to the appropriate procurement, transplant or development personnel. Provides hospital personnel and all callers with prompt, efficient processing of incoming and outgoing calls. Utilizes best practice to fully optimize organ and tissue referral and donation potential. Approaches families regarding the process of donation. Obtains consent from the family for tissue and/or bone donation after presenting the donation option. Supports and fosters the mission of the organization and its commitment to organ and tissue donation.
