Little Mountain Montessori is Hiring a Teacher Assistant Near Seattle, WA

Hi there!
We are a small one room Montessori school in Seattle looking for an assistant teacher. Montessori/experience with children under 5 is great, but if you are just starting out in working with children or interested in the Montessori Method this is a great place to start. The hours are M - F, 8-4 pm. This position includes assisting the lead teacher during morning workime, by helping the children with snack, toileting, settling children with work, classroom prep, playground time, lunch with the children, overseeing nap time, and cleaning. We are a small group of four hardworking teachers, very committed to the Montessori Method and enjoying the days with co workers and the children.
Starting at $18/hr, we pay 50% Kaiser Health insurance, and offer a free bus pass. We really want to find the right person to add to our small team. If that sounds like you please email!
We are a licensed facility so any new hire is required to meet the following:
Current Portable Background Check via MERITCurrent (within the past 12 months) and cleared TB testProof of COVID-19 vaccinationProof of immunity from measles (MMR)Ability to lift 25 poundsInfant/Child CPR/First Aid within first 90 daysBlood-borne Pathogens within first 90 daysFood handlers PermitSTARS/MERIT participation per state guidelines. Will need to complete your STARS 30 hours within the first 90 days of employment and complete and maintain yearly STARS hours.
