```Job Summary```
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team. As an assistant teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and preparing them for their educational journey. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills.

```Responsibilities```
- Aid in assistance with Lead Teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote learning and development in areas such as childhood development, literacy education, math, and social skills.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and discipline in accordance to what Lead Teacher implements
- Assess the progress of each child and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive educational program.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss their child's progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred) OR Child Development Associate (CDA) certification.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, special education principles, and curriculum development.
- Strong understanding of literacy education, math concepts, and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children, parents or guardians, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing environment for children with diverse needs.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies for working with children with autism or other special needs.

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
