Little Coterie Studio is Hiring a Shop Manager Near Houston, TX

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Shop Manager is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and supporting all components involved in operating The Little Coterie Shop and aiding with the online store. This includes daily store operations, all aspects of inventory management (ordering/receiving/stocking), customer relations and POS activities. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations and will work closely with other team members.

JOB DUTIES

  • Oversee daily operations of the shop, including inventory management, sales, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve targets
  • Train and supervise shop staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assists with shop and design details.
  • Works with Founder/CEO to determine the best layout for shop items/planogram.
  • Works with Founder, In-House Operations Coordinator, Executive Assistant, and Marketing Assistant to plan shop sales, specials, pop-ups, and drop-in experiences.
  • Works with Founder and Director of Operations in organizing and coordinating Edit Box components, deliveries, pick-ups and invoicing weekly.
  • Utilizes the Shopify platform to complete invoicing, order fulfillment, pricing, and inventory reporting to our E-Commerce Coordinator.
  • Organizes shop inventory, including receiving products, pricing, and stocking products while keeping the shop clean and tidy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
  • Help pack and unpack pop-ups and markets and safely package delicate items.
  • Keeps track of Purchase Order and Faire orders.
  • If a product is out of stock, places order, and keeps client abreast of timing.
  • Keeps FIFO (first in, first out) publicly in mind (help move items).
  • Maintains VIP lookbook with details of client likes habits.
  • Sends Sussies to VIP clients.
  • Get with janitorial to clean, vacuum, and dust the office.
  • Uses discretion to offer discounts for damaged items.
  • Oversees LC Shop gift wrap/image presented with each sale and shipment.
  • Assists in coordinating details and execution of styled photoshoots and events (food/drink presentation).
  • Event and Holiday Decor Support as needed.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Keeps profitability in mind and keeps us abreast of daily/weekly sales.
  • Creates Mailchimp mailers to send out weekly.

  • Must be experienced with programs and apps such as Shopify, Canva, and Microsoft.
  • Must strive to meet quarterly and annual goals
  • Must be present for events/pop-ups if assigned

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour
