GENERAL MANAGERIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of food service, including menu planning, food preparation, and food safety
- Ensure high quality of food and beverages served to customers
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and feedback
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
- Collaborate with the management team to set goals and objectives for the restaurant
- Monitor financial performance and make adjustments as necessary to meet revenue targets
GENERAL MANAGER SKILLS:
- Strong knowledge of food service management
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficient in kitchen management, including food handling and food safety practices
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
