LiRo Architects Planners, P.C., is an award-winning design firm seeking an Architectural Designer to participate in the design, documentation and construction administration of a variety of projects. This positoin is for our New York City Office.
Responsibilities
- Drafting and modifying Architectural drawings at all phases
- Architectural design
- Reviewing design documents and construction estimates
- Assisting in coordination with engineering consultants, and coordinating documents with MEP, Civil, and Structural drawings
- Researching products and materials
- Performing constructibility reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited college is required.
- 5 years U. S. experience in building design and construction document preparation is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of Revit is required
- Proficiency with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch Up Pro, Rhino 3D Max or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Knowledge of International and Local Building Codes is a plus
- Strong conceptual, communication, planning and organization skills and capability of working both individually and in a team environment on a variety of projects and tasks
- Candidate should be preparing to meet all qualifications to sit for ARE a plus

- Compensation: Min: $80,000; Max $90,000
