Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Food Runner/Server will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant by delivering exceptional customer service and assisting in the overall dining experience for guests. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver food from the kitchen to the customers' tables promptly and accurately. You will work closely with the waitstaff, kitchen team, and management to provide a seamless dining experience for all guests.
Essential Functions
- Monitor food quality and presentation before delivering to guests, alerting the kitchen or management of any inconsistencies or issues promptly.
- Provide courteous, attentive, and prompt service to guests, addressing any questions they may have and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
- Verify the accuracy of each order before delivering it to the customers, ensuring that special requests and modifications are communicated correctly to the kitchen.
- Safely and efficiently transport food items from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, ensuring proper presentation and accuracy in delivering orders.
- Double check silverware and plates for cleanliness
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Team player with strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask
- Thrives in high-stress, fast-paced environment
- Ability to bend and lift at least 50 pounds
- Guest-first approach to hospitality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
