Job Description
Summary/Objective
We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Busser to join our Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for clearing and resetting tables in the dining room, assisting the server with taking orders, and ensuring a clean and organized dining environment.
Essential Functions
- Clear tables of used dishes, glassware and utensils in a timely manner
- Wipe down tables and reset them with clean tableware and other items (salt, pepper shakers, condiments and menus)
- Assist with refiling water glasses and other customer needs
- Assist the server with taking orders, delivering food and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the dining room and kitchen
- Assist with other tasks as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Busser or similar role in a restaurant preferred
- Strong customer service skills and a guest-first approach to hospitality
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekend
- Bilingual in English/Haitian Creole is highly preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
