About The Role:
As an Engineer at LINQ, you will work as a member of a cross-functional team to deliver business critical applications of high function and technical quality. You will be responsible for working closely with the product owners and quality assurance to create software that fulfills business needs. You are capable of quickly learning new business domains as well as working in a team environment. You are passionate about delivering high quality, maintainable software to the business.
This role is specifically looking for a more hands on Engineering Manager that can help triage, troubleshoot, support, and guide the team in technical projects, escalations, and architectural decisions. The director overseeing this role is looking for a strong partner to work with architecture to define and set the standard for the teams and products to build towards a stronger enterprise-level solution.

What We Are Looking For:
-At least 8 years of experience in Software Application Development
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent working experience
-Strong understanding of relational database systems
-Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
-5 years designing and implementing products using SaaS, IaC, event driven, and/or micro-services
-Experience with the following technologies: Java, Angular, AWS, NoSQL (DynamoDB preferred)
-Experience leading or managing a team of empowered engineers
-Strong belief in and use of best practices
-Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
-Collaborate with teams to clarify design and implementation while meeting project needs
-Collaborate with other developers and architects (when appropriate) to determine optimal solution architecture, efficiency, maintainability and scalability
-Complete projects/tasks in a timely fashion while meeting sprint goals and commitments
-Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular
-Experience managing and mentoring other engineers
