Lead, grow, and develop a team of innovative software engineers in designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software products covering sourcing, pricing, merchandising, delivery, and disposition workflow in the automotive wholesale and retail space. Influence other software and IT managers to design and build solutions that meet the company’s needs. Manage career progression for team members, including hiring, performance reviews, salary decisions, mentoring, and coaching. Represent team in strategy and planning meetings. Work with team to plan, design, implement, and operationalize innovations and improvements to existing programs. Work with team to continually improve their processes and develop best practices for agile development that delivers value for our stakeholders. Minimum Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, computer information systems, computer engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience in the position offered or 6 years of experience performing object-oriented design. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience, the employer will accept a master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in the aforementioned fields and 1 year of experience as stated. Requires 1 year of experience: using design patterns and REST; using MVC & UI technologies; managing data using SQL; and leading, developing, coaching, and mentoring other software engineers. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
