At Inceptio, you will work on a wide range of technologies ranging from computing platform, software solution to full system verification and validation.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SDK(Software Development Kit) Engineer to join our Engineering team. In your role, you will be responsible for design and development an SDK for autonomous driving system.

Work Location: Onsite Required

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop an SDK (Software Development Kit) for autonomous driving system, including project code structure, programming framework, integrated development environment, toolchain, etc.
• Ensure the compatibility and expandability of the SDK, enabling both internal and external users to easily customize and integrate autonomous driving features.
• Analyze the development process of autonomous driving software, assess development bottlenecks, and enhance development efficiency through tools.
• Collaborate with other teams to provide development and design support for autonomous driving software modules.
• Write development and design documentation for the SDK.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or related fields.
• 5 or more years of experience in developing toolchains, compilers, and SDKs in relevant domains.
• Passion for programming, proficiency in C/C and Python, capable of independently using these languages for software development.
• Proficient in using the Linux operating system, with knowledge of relevant commands and development tools on Linux systems.
• Proficiency in software diagnostic tools such as gdb, valgrind, etc.
• In-depth understanding of autonomous driving technology and industry, with familiarity in common autonomous driving hardware and software architectures.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills, able to collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve technical issues in the SDK.
• Keen interest in new technologies and innovative methods, with the willingness and ability to drive the development and upgrade of SDK technology.
• Fluent in Chinese, capable of working effectively with development teams in the China office.

Compensation:

• The US Annual total cash range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $300,000.
• Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including work location, job-related skills, years of experience, and relevant education or training.
