Job Description

Job Description

LA (Lindeman & Associates) launched in 2015 and quickly established itself as a leader in the entertainment advertising space, winning Clio’s Agency of the Year in 2017. LA brings together artists, editors, and storytellers into one hyper-collaborative team specializing in crafting iconic 360º campaigns. Our work grows audiences, sparks conversations, builds brands, and shapes culture. Though we hail from around the country—and the world—Los Angeles is our creative home and our muse. LA is honored to collaborate with the industry’s leading theatrical and streaming partners, including Disney, FX, HBOMAX, Amazon Studios, Hulu, Paramount, Lionsgate, Netflix, STARZ, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros.

LA is seeking an innovative and self-motivated Jr. Art Director experienced in building Key Art within the theatrical, broadcast, and/or streaming industry to join our Print team. The print team gets to work on some awesome projects with a variety of high-profile clients and you will never get bored, as you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of genres and IPs. We pride ourselves on giving all of our artists a high degree of creative freedom. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is able to take ownership. You will report to a Creative Director and will be working with amazing artists cross-departmentally.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create art for a variety of entertainment properties, including theatrical releases, television shows, and streaming content
  • Build comps using the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Adapt Key Art into outdoor and/or digital campaigns, ensuring consistency across multiple platforms
  • Brainstorm and concept for photoshoot sketches, providing creative direction and support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Design logos and title treatments for various projects, maintaining a high level of creativity and innovation
  • Collaborate closely with cross-departmental teams to ensure alignment on creative direction and project objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Creative Director or project leads

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2.5 years of experience in creating Key Art in theatrical and/or television marketing
  • A portfolio displaying innovative and creative work in the entertainment industry
  • Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong skills in photo manipulation, retouching, and typography
  • Up-to-date knowledge of recent major entertainment campaigns and Key Art trends
  • Ability to translate ideas into compelling visual designs
  • Experience participating in photo shoots and collaborating with photography teams
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Highly collaborative and productive member of a close-knit team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict security and confidentiality measures

The Perks:

  • The base compensation range for this position in the selected city is $70,000-$85,000 annually. This range depends on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, location, prior experience, and education
  • Remote work with the option to work onsite in our DTLA office
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401K plan
  • Paid time off, holidays, and employee wellness benefits
  • Opportunities for career development and advancement in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Work with world-class talent on projects that showcase your creativity and passion for design
