About the Company: Founded in 1982, Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions is the worlds leading supplier of real time contamination monitoring systems and airborne particle counters. Lighthouse offers the most complete line of contamination monitoring solutions available that include Airborne Particle Counters, Microbial Samplers and Liquid Particle Counters, as well as Temperature / Humidity sensors. Recently added production of air purification products, manufacturing of personal protective equipment. These solutions are now found in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data storage, biotechnology, aerospace and defense industry plants worldwide.

About the Job and Responsibilities: This position is responsible for performing inspection of incoming materials and outgoing product to ensure conformance to specified requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all job duties, thinking safety first.
  • Studies ISO standards and applies them to the QMS.
  • Establishes internal audit schedule yearly.
  • Performs internal audits of QMS, initiating Corrective/Preventive Actions Requests where necessary.
  • Trains and assigns tasks to additional staff of internal auditors.
  • Hosts customer and regulatory audits of QMS, initiating Corrective/Preventive Actions Requests where necessary.
  • Manages the Corrective/Preventive Actions process and drives CAPAs to closure.
  • Works with all personnel and departments to continually improve the QMS processes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Get along with others.
  • Generates reports for Management Review.
  • Able to stand and sit for long periods of time.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds and 41 pounds as a two-person lift.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Positive and professional attitude with willingness to jump in and help in all situations.
  • Strong math skills (add, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, able to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Self-starter, able to take initiative and manage time effectively.
  • Outstanding work ethic and innate curiosity and willingness to learn.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Technical Certification; Associates degree preferred.
  • Two or more years relevant experience related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • High level of proficiency with personal computers. Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Windows, and Internet usage.
