Lift Waste & Recycling is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Greensboro, NC

Based in Greensboro, NC, Lift Waste & Recycling is a leading provider of waste management services throughout the Triad region of NC. Lift has positions available in Burlington, Greensboro, High Point and Winston Salem.

We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to grow business in the Triad and offer a Competitive Base Salary Health Insurance Monthly Car/Cell Phone Allowance Uncapped Monthly Commissions. Our Outside Sales Rep can earn up to $200k per year with a base salary of $45-55k depending on experience.

The Ideal Outside Sales Rep candidate is:

  • Someone who enjoys the daily sales grind and understands that opportunity is around every corner or with every business decision maker you meet

  • You’re someone motivated by establishing long lasting relationships with customers and exceeding goals. Our commissions are uncapped, so your ability to exceed not only company goals, but your own financial goals are limitless!

Daily activities are:

  • Researching and prospecting new customers
  • Cold calling to influence potential commercial customers to choose Lift for their waste/recycling solution business partner
  • Using consultative selling to identify needs and solutions
  • Presenting a comprehensive customer solution
  • Negotiating and closing the deal
  • Conducting post-sale administrative work to ensure customer onboarding is successful and seamless
  • Prospecting, cold-calling, selling, and closing new business deals is approximately 90-95% of your daily activities. Approximately, 5-10% of your daily activities involve managing our current customer base. This includes, service changes, inquiries, ownership changes, location closures, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma, GED and/or equivalent work experience.

An Associates Degree in Business Administration or Sales and Marketing is preferred

Years of Experience: The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of related experience. A minimum of 2 years' experience in Solid Waste and/or a service related industry is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

· Demonstrated organizational, oral, written, and listening skills

· Proficient computer skills

· Excellent selling and account management skills

· Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers

MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE USED:

· Usual office equipment including computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator

· MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Usual office environment

· May require travel to area businesses, multiple sites including transfer stations and/or landfills

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Ability to organize various office systems through adjusting, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, bending or folding for the purpose of proper records development and/or management

· Ability to use a computer and related devices, such as a keyboard or mouse or other related equipment, throughout the workday while seated at a desk or workstation

· Possess speaking skills and hearing ability to interact with customers on the telephone
