Overview:
This project manager position will be responsible for opportunity lead screening, managing consultation schedules, supporting our designers during initial consultation, processing design agreements, collecting requirements for projects that do not require designs, coordinating bid preparation and proposal preparation, managing prospect and customer relationships, planning and scheduling installation projects, overseeing projects from start to finish, and managing project change request processes, .
This position requires strong organization skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and an ex-tensive knowledge of residential design/build construction practices. The project manager must communicate effectively on all levels of the project -- communicating professionally with clients, designers, administrative per-sonnel, craftsmen and subcontractors on project sites, and company principals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from initiation to completion.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with crew and designer.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to crew.
- Liaise with designer on an ongoing basis.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
· Demonstrated the ability to sell and install projects generating significant annual revenue.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Proven working experience as a Project Manager in the Landscape sector.
