Lifespan Physician Group (LPG) is the largest multi-specialty group of physicians in Rhode Island and the major affiliate of Brown Medical School and Brown University. We have an opening for an outpatient psychiatrist in our East Providence, RI office. Here you will join a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed social workers, and community treatment specialists. Our program offers tailored, personal, and coordinated treatment for patients age 18 older who are experiencing a variety of mental health and behavioral health conditions.

East Providence is located just across the Providence River from the state capitol to the west and the Massachusetts state border to the east. The city is less than an hour to Boston and 3 hours to NYC. The town itself is known for its waterfront, diverse community, and proximity to all things New England. Rhode Island is considered New England’s best kept secret, boasting magnificent natural beauty, abundant recreational opportunities, great schools, vibrant cultural arts, plus a cost of living that’s a fraction of nearby Boston and New York City.

- Full time
- Work M-F
- Weekend call is no more than 1:6, inpatient or psychiatric emergency room
- Academic appointment to Brown University
- Adult psychiatry primarily caring for patients with mood disorders and anxiety
- Outstanding administrative support
- Leadership opportunities if desired

- $3,500 CME/Practice allowance 1 week
