Lifespan Physician Group is Hiring a Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist for SafeQuest Program Bradley Hospital Near Providence, RI
Bradley Hospital, an affiliated hospital of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, has an opening for a child clinical psychologist to join an intensive after-school program for children aged 9-12 who are at risk for self-harm and/or who are suffering from significant mood or anxiety disorders, ADHD or trauma-related factors. SafeQuest psychologists work within a multidisciplinary team, which works collaboratively with parents and caregivers to provide the best services possible to assist each child. Responsible for diagnostic assessment, group, family, and individual treatment and facilitate disposition planning
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to reduce self-harmful behaviors, increase coping and positive regulation skills and lessen hospital stays for patients
Opportunity to teach and provide supervision within the broader system
Collaborative research opportunities may be available
Position is part time but can be combined with other opportunities to create a full-time position if desired
Positions available in East Providence and East Greenwich
About You:
PhD or PsyD in Clinical Child Psychology from an APA-accredited program required
Pre-doctoral internship at an APA-accredited program required
Licensed or license-eligible in Rhode Island
Desire to work in a team-based care model
Bring a passion for helping children with complex psychosocial and/or diagnostic histories
