Formed in 2012, the Lifescale Analytics team has years of experience providing a spectrum of customized data management services and solutions including Data Management/Analytics, Big Data Solutions, Cloud Services, Business Intelligence and Data Science that focuses on building strong portfolios and programs. Through experience and innovation, we allow businesses, pharmaceutical companies, financial institutions, and government agencies to manage and proactively make decisions based on their biggest asset, their data. Our specialists are skilled at managing, refining, analyzing, or visualizing information for the specific purpose of increasing the value of IT to benefit from the data science industry.
Employment Qualifications:Applicants responding to this position must be a US Citizen and may be subjected to a government security investigation which requires possessing the ability to view classified government information, background checks and drug screening. All applicants applying must have lived in the US for the past 5 years and cannot have traveled out of the country more than 6 months (cumulatively) in the past five years. (Military Service excluded).

Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager, looking for candidates in the Washington, D.C. area. Open to highly qualified candidates being remote. The Project Manager supporting Authentication Management at client Headquarters. Responsibilities:

  • Provides overall strategic management, defines the program scope and objectives, manages project’s scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
  • Develops project management plans, project documentation, work breakdown structures, project schedules, integrated master schedules, financial reports, and risk management documentation.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
  • Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
  • Defines project scope and objectives.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Performs all functional duties independently. Works on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s).
  • Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of IT delivery experience, with 3-5 years in a project management role
    3-5 years’ experience managing projects in both waterfall and agile software development methodologies.
  • Responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations.
  • Provide overall direction of program activities.
  • Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Consult with personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations.
  • Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize.
  • Able to obtain a Government Security Clearance
  • Excellent communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Business or related disciplines (Master's Preferred)

Certifications:

  • GSLC: GIAC Security Leadership Certification
  • GCPM: GIAC Certified Project Manager Certification
  • PMP Project Management Professional
