Shift: First Shift

Job Summary:
Electric/Electronics Assembler I work in the manufacturing environment performing a variety of duties. Processes include the use of basic hand tools, chemical applicators, and general testing equipment. This Assembler I position is responsible for output of assigned requirements to meet the needs of the production environment.

Along with the use of technical drawings and/or written work instructions, Assembler I workers support the production environment goal by supplying required sub-assemblies and performing finishing operations to Vehicle Ignition Interlock Devices. Assembler I work is usually done individually or in a team structure and Assembler I workers must be able to work well with others as well as be comfortable in a production environment. Assembler I workers report to a Production Supervisor.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Disassembly/Assembly of Electronic Devices

• Perform repetitive tasks with a high rate of accuracy

• Flexibility of Duty; must be able to perform multiple duties during the course of a shift

• Acute attention to detail; identification of similar devices as well as performing intricate tasks to standard

• Understand and Implement Written and Verbal Instruction

• Basic level Computer Skills

• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, cutters, wrenches, etc.

• Be able to sit at a workspace for the duration of the workday

Experience and Skills:Skills/Abilities:

• Computer Skills Proficiency Preferred

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
