Monday - Friday

7:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our team. As a High School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students who may require additional assistance
- Utilize learning technology to enhance the educational experience
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education

Skills:
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students
- Knowledge of special education strategies and accommodations
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and platforms
- Proficiency in Chicago Manual Style for academic writing and research
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Strong math skills for teaching relevant subjects
- Copy editing skills for reviewing student work
- Experience working with children or knowledge of childhood development principles
