  • Strategize, plan, and oversee the synthesis, purification, and characterization of guideRNAs, compounds and linkers.
  • Direct development and optimization of the RNP-based platform for in vivo delivery
  • Manage relationships and projects with various CROs (and FTEs), ensuring high-quality deliverables within timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Computational Biology, Protein Science, Cell Biology, and Translational to ensure integrated progress towards company milestones.
  • Drive the scientific strategy for chemistry efforts, staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field to ensure Evercrisp remains at the cutting edge of gene editing.

  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with a proven track record in leading chemistry teams and projects in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the design of modified oligonucleic acids for in vivo delivery.
  • Extensive experience managing CROs and FTEs for the synthesis and analysis of biological molecules, compounds, and linkers.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams towards achieving scientific and organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaborations and effectively presenting complex scientific data and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to the fast-paced, evolving nature of startup environment.
