About this Opportunity:

Life-Assist is looking for a Graphic Designer I to work collaboratively with our creative Marketing team to create internal and external online and print brand communications. The Graphic Designer I will assist the Marketing Team by creating content for Life-Assist online, at events, in video, and in print. Key to this role is an understanding of how the content and design will work together to create meaningful and supportive materials for the audience and the ability to effectively share ideas from concept to delivery.

As the Graphic Designer I, you will:

• Work with the marketing, products, IT, and sales teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended.
• Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints.
• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral used to promote products or services.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively with the lead designer and marketing team to meet deadlines and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include simultaneous projects.
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.
• Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video.
• Concept layout, design of print pieces, email blasts, Google ads, and digital assets.

 This role requires the ability to work on a variety of creative projects that support the Marketing team's efforts.

Who Are You?

A.A. degree in one of the following fields: Graphic Design, Web Design/Development, Media Design, Digital Art, or Marketing; B.A. preferred. 2 years’ experience

• Intermediate skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Premiere
• Intermediate skills in UX/UI design 
• Video production and editing skills are a plus
• Intermediate skills in web design, layout, typography
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS (experience in responsive web design is a plus)
• Online Portfolio
• Strong listening, communication, and problem-solving skills as well as flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to learn new skills quickly under the guidance of creative team members while delivering quality work by tight deadlines are key attributes of this individual.
