Liebler, Gonzalez & Portuondo is Hiring an Employment Law Associate Near Miami, FL
Liebler, Gonzalez & Portuondo is looking for an employment law associate to join the firm. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in employment law. This position can be hybrid or fully remote, but candidates must be licensed to practice in Florida. Admission to Florida federal courts is strongly preferred.
Job Description
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, and pleadings in both state and federal court.
- Conduct written discovery, interview fact witnesses, conduct and defend depositions.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, trials.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed attorney in Florida.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in employment law.
- Must be highly motivated, organized, and proactive.
- Must communicate well both in writing and orally.
- Must have strong research and writing skills.
Skill Sets
- Federal court admission strongly preferred.
- Spanish and/or Creole fluency strongly preferred.
