LAC Federal is seeking an Archivist / Metadata Specialist to work on-site at a federal agency in the Washington, DC area.
The Archivist will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining metadata for physical and digital archives using a combination of DACS and Dublin Core.
The Archivist will assist the agency in implementing an archival management system that will employ DACS and BibFrame to describe agency archives and publications.
A knowledge of programming language including R, Python, and Java will be essential in working to implement the digital archives solution.
