The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. As an Inside Sales Representative you will be handling inbound calls or leads, consulting with customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverages, products, and benefits to convert leads into customers. Depending on your work assignment, you will interact with our customers through calls and email.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes basic coverage and quoting knowledge, performs direct sales and selling techniques for auto insurance policies.
  • Conducts first line underwriting risk evaluation in accordance with established rules and guidelines.
  • Receives and/or places telephone sales calls which are routine and do not require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures to handle any/all aspects of customer's personal insurance needs including Auto, Home, Fire, Condo, Earthquake, Umbrella, Watercraft, Recreational Vehicle and Motorcycle.
  • Assesses customer's insurance needs and suggest/advise products and coverage's based on a need/exposure assessment. Conducts need/exposure assessments involves interviewing prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of their person or property to be insured, claims history and coverage gaps.


Pay Details:

  • $45,000 base salary uncapped monthly sales incentive.
  • $58,000-$65,000 first year including base – salary

Schedule:

  • Unlicensed training begins July 29th, 2024 & licensed training begins August 12th, 2024.
  • We provide comprehensive training for new hires, offering paid training of either 6 weeks licensed or 8 weeks for those seeking to obtain a Property and Casualty producer license. During training, the hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm (PST) or 9am-5:30pm (CST). Your initial shift post training will fall within operating hours and will be assigned based on performance and overall business needs.
  • Licensed Sales Center operating hours:
  • Monday-Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Saturday 7:00am to 5:00pm.
Qualifications
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication, persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Effective time management and ability to work well independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to understand complex coverage details and underwriting guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate numerous computerized data entry system or other relevant applications simultaneously while advising customers as normally acquired through a bachelor's degree or equivalent business background plus a minimum of 1-3 years of insurance or sales/service related work experience
  • Must maintain valid Resident and Nonresident P&C licenses in all 50 states and continuing education as outlined by the resident insurance license
