We have several positions spanning entry level to more advanced.

We are looking for System Support Analysts to fill roles in multiple areas of Solution Delivery - Business Lines, including Publishing, Claims, and Partner Integration. As a member of the agile team, you will partner with others to help deliver high quality solutions to market quickly for our small commercial business. System Support Analysts will partner closely with aligned Product Owners and Scrum Masters and focus on the key priorities for the domains and teams. Analysts will be responsible for conducting forward looking research, impact analysis, in-depth analysis of systems, defect triage, risk mitigation, and looking for ways to enhance the delivery of our products to market. Specific tasks may include requirement writing, test plan creation, test execution, technical system analysis, data definition creation, data mapping, business process mapping, backlog maintenance, data analysis, trend identification, and stakeholder management.

Experience with insurance, specifically commercial lines is beneficial

Publishing Track: Help deliver on a critical migration of Business Lines policy forms to a new Publishing engine shared across GRM. Partner with multiple teams to perform forward looking analysis, understand state deviations, manage data dependencies, help drive project timelines, execute functional and regression testing, perform production validation activities, and create overall transparency. ACORD XML and JSON experience a plus.

Claims Track: Partner with multiple areas including product, rating, regulatory, finance, etc to analyze new product requirements and ensure successful delivery of solutions within the Business Lines Claims portfolio. Working with your team you will support both in-flight product initiatives as well as new product builds. Claims and ACORD XML experience a plus.

Partners Track: Supports and partners with various areas in Business Lines to integrate and update BL embedded API with ongoing product changes to ensure consistent communication with our alt channel partners and drive forward our omnichannel distribution goals. Conduct forward looking research to proactively identify impacts from new product builds, identify data impacts, represent the team in value stream discussions, and ensure the API is kept up to date and operational. Business Lines product knowledge, eCLIQ experience, and ACORD XML experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates industry wide standards and complex business requirements
  • Performs process analysis of customer activities to determine alternative business solutions or process improvement opportunities
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation of complex business requirements
  • Analyzes and documents complex business problems and provides recommendations based on research of industry trends, business products, competitors and performance analysis for optimal business solutions
  • Analyzes feasibility, cost ramifications, economies, or other aspects of large or complex programs
  • Develops business client testing strategies, plans cases and conditions tests and monitors testing efforts
  • Reviews and approves new system behavior to ensure alignment with business requirements and objectives
  • Directly responsible for projects or sub-projects by developing methods and tools to track and measure results
  • Consults on complex business issues and design considerations
  • Performs or directs research activities on industry trends, business products and competitors
  • Analyzes trends and is responsible for tactical and strategic recommendations
  • Works with other departments to coordinate interdepartmental activities in order to ensure that Liberty meets customer expectations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of business operations, objectives and strategies as well as business process and information flow.
  • Understanding of business practices common across many businesses.
  • Extensive understanding of re-engineering approaches.
  • General knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies.
  • General knowledge of diverse technologies and new and current architectures.
  • Skills in object, data and / or process modeling; financial analysis and planning, business value analysis; business process design.
  • Negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
