Role Summary:

The HR Manager is a key position within Liberty Coca-Cola that is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in the New York facilities. This position will formulate cross-functional partnerships within the HR function in order to deliver value-added service while maintaining an effective level of business literacy.

The successful candidate for the HR Manager role will understand the business environment, strategy, and people implications in the interest of building effective and productive working relationships to deliver HR solutions to meet the needs of managers and employees alike. The HR Manager will also analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies, as well as managing and resolving complex employee and labor relations issues through sound and objective investigative practices.

The HR Manager role is responsible for working closely with management and employees to foster and cultivate enhanced employee engagement for increased productivity and retention.

The HR Manager will plan, lead, and support organization design projects in order to streamline and implement new structures, roles, and/or processes that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.

The successful candidate will be passionate for winning, with relentless execution, and a strong drive for results with the ability to build a strong sense of cohesion and big picture success amongst the company.

Responsibilities:

· Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

· Maintains in-depth knowledge of all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to reduce legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

· Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

· Works closely with management and employees to build employee engagement and increase productivity and retention

· Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation

· Provides administrative support to the human resources function

· Promote diversity and inclusion in talent attraction, development, and retention within the organization

Qualifications:

Required -

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· 3 -5 years HR experience managing multiple client groups and prioritizing associated projects in a fast-paced and high-volume, complex environment

· 3 – 5 years experience in employee and labor relations

· Previous experience working in a union environment

· Ability to listen and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, across all levels of the organization.

· Strong influencing and partnering skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks

· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Preferred -

· PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification highly desired

· Previous consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution experience

· Knowledge of and experience with HRIS systems, LMS, and SAP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 per year
