LHH is partnering with a client to find an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their team in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to gather and analyze requirements.
• Architect and implement scalable and maintainable code.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and expertise.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a strong focus on .NET development.
• Expertise in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Solid understanding of web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
• Proficiency in database design and SQL, with experience working with relational databases.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality code.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Previous experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Mobile development experience with Xamarin or other mobile frameworks.
