Title: Full-Time Office Administrator (Dental Practice)
Location: Raleigh/Durham
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Office Administrator to join a reputable dental office team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a dental practice environment and possess strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Management:
  • Greet patients upon arrival and ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Coordinate patient records and update information as necessary.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and other communications promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation.
  • Office Coordination:
  • Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist in the coordination of meetings, trainings, and events as needed.
  • Compliance and Regulations:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and sensitive documents.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Handle patient feedback and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an office administrator in a dental practice setting is required.
  • Proficiency in dental software systems (e.g., Dentacom) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, and procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is desirable.
