LHH is actively seeking a Demand Planner for a global distribution company in the Western Suburbs. This is a great opportunity with a growing company and a chance to play a key role in building out a highly visible department .
This role is responsible for demand planning and forecasting for multiple distribution regions, interfacing with upper management in regards to demand and capacity and building out supply planning capabilities
The primary responsibilities for this role include
Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts
Interface with regional leadership in regards to potential and won business, capacity capabilities, and material availability
Maintain finish good forecasts
Work interdepartmentally to ensure material availability and flow
Partner with internal departments to support sales and marketing goals
Analysis historical and forecasted data to identify trends
Identify areas of opportunity
Additional duties as needed
The ideal candidate profile will have the following qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
5 years of Demand Planning experience
Highly analytical and comfortable working with large data sets
ERP system experience
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable interfacing with all levels of the organization
