Our client, a leading National Distribution company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join their team in Portland, OR. With a commitment to fostering a supportive work environment and a focus on employee growth and development, our client offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact in the HR space. This is a direct hire role with an annual salary up to $85,000, DOE.

As the Senior HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's culture and mission. Reporting directly to the VP of HR, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on Employee Relations, Benefits, and Leave Management. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with both employees and leadership.

Sr. HR Generalist Job Responsibilities:

· Develop strong relationships with managers to provide coaching and guidance on performance management, hiring best practices, disciplinary actions, and termination processes.

· Oversee Benefits Administration, including healthcare and retirement benefits, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

· Administer compensation programs, conducting salary reviews and benchmarking to maintain competitiveness in the market.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for Employee Relations inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.

· Manage Leave Management processes, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable regulations, while maintaining accurate records and documentation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives and programs that support the organization's goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

· Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

· In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with a demonstrated passion for employee relations.

· Proficiency in HRIS systems and software, with the ability to generate reports and analyze data effectively.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels of the organization.

· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
