Job Title: Warehouse Operations Specialist
Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Summary/Objective
As a Warehouse Operations Specialist under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager, you play a pivotal role in executing diverse functions within the warehouse, seamlessly integrating responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate, Forklift Operator, and Shipping/Receiving Clerk. Your multifaceted expertise ensures the optimization of warehouse operations, encompassing meticulous stock handling, efficient material movement, and precise order processing.

Essential Functions

• Warehouse Operations:
• Execute loading and secure packaging of stock into boxes and pallets.
• Employ a pallet jack for efficient unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Contribute to the setup of additional racking as required.
• Utilize handheld scanning devices to unpack and organize new stock accurately.
• Operate a forklift for material handling tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform duties associated with moving tarped locations and reorganizing designated areas.

• Shipping and Receiving:
• Prepare, wrap, and pack orders meticulously for timely and accurate shipping.
• Manage shipping and receiving responsibilities, including verification of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Employ a digital label maker to accurately label new rack, shelf, and bin locations.

• Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and FIFO:
• Implement and optimize Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) processes to ensure the quality and accuracy of products before shipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory control systems.

• Safety and Housekeeping:
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety guidelines.
• Execute routine housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.

• Collaboration and Flexibility:
• Collaborate effectively with team members and the warehouse manager to optimize operational efficiency.
• Demonstrate flexibility by undertaking additional duties as assigned.

• Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager to meet operational needs.

Supervisory Responsibility
Not applicable.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional warehouse environment. Standard warehouse equipment such as computers, pallet jacks, digital label makers, forklifts, packing tape dispensers, and other equipment will be used.

Physical Demands
When performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching will also be required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. LGMG provides one hour of lunchtime each day, and no payment will be made for that one hour of lunchtime. Extra time may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 years of experience in shipping, receiving, forklift operation, or related areas.
• Basic understanding of inventory management.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Good moral character.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and WMS/CRM systems, SAP.
• Forklift certificate.
