LGMG Job Description

Job Title: Parts Coordinator
Reports To: Parts Manager

Summary/Objective
As a Parts Coordinator reporting to the Parts Manager, you play a vital role in the seamless coordination and management of aftermarket parts. Your responsibilities include handling customer orders, managing order processes, conducting order statistics and analysis, and ensuring effective communication with external customers and logistics partners.

Essential Functions

  • Order Handling
  • Receiving Orders:
  • Accept customer or sales team orders, meticulously reviewing order details for accuracy and completeness.
  • Orders Entering:
  • Enter order information into the SAP system, ensuring precision and correctness.
  • Orders Follow-up:
  • Track the entire order process, ensuring timely production and delivery.
  • Maintain real-time communication with production and logistics departments for order progress updates.
  • Orders Management
  • Orders Allocation:
  • Allocate orders efficiently to appropriate resources.
  • Orders Priority Management:
  • Manage the priority of orders for efficient processing.
  • Orders Amendments Management:
  • Manage any amendments or changes to orders.
  • Orders Statistics and Analysis
  • Orders Quantity Statistics:
  • Compile and analyze statistics related to the quantity of orders.
  • Orders Quality Analysis:
  • Analyze the quality aspects of orders.
  • Orders Problems Feedback:
  • Collect and provide feedback on any issues or problems related to orders.
  • Customer Communication
  • Parts Enquiries:
  • Communicate with external customers to address parts inquiries, including pricing, inventory, and code lookup.
  • Logistics Coordination
  • Logistics Contact:
  • Liaise with logistics companies to ensure timely shipment of parts (after packaging at the warehouse).
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager to meet operational needs.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional warehouse environment. Standard inventory management tools and equipment, including computers and communication tools, will be used.

Physical Demands
When performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching will also be required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extra time may be required as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 years of experience in parts coordination, order management, or related areas.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar order management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and inventory management software.
  • Certification in parts coordination or related field.
