LGC is Hiring a Marketing Operations Manager Near Milford, MA

Job Purpose

As part of our Commercial Operations team, the Marketing Operations Manager is focused on optimizing the digital experience including websites landing pages, automation, and social media designed to acquire, nurture, and qualify leads and sales opportunities that convert into measurable, repeatable, and predictable new sales and revenue growth.

The Marketing Operations Manager supports the wider marketing team with oversight of key campaigns analytics, measuring success and or reporting on improvements to be made to enhance and optimize the customer/stakeholder journey including online meeting points, navigation, engagement strategies (landing pages), supporting assets, and calls to action.

The Marketing Operations Manager maintains a close eye on market/industry best practices, ensuring that LGC CDx develops and maintains a leadership position and capability in Marketing Digital Experience and Analytics. They continually set standards, research new platform opportunities, and watch competitor activity to keep LGC CDx in a leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing Program Managers and the wider commercial team in creating and testing cohesive customer experiences where each touchpoint flows smoothly to the next and can be measured and analyzed in detail.
  • Support the Marketing Program Managers and wider commercial team, IT and BA teams, with the integration and continuous improvement in our marketing systems including HubSpot, Salesforce, SAP, LGC CDx marketing websites (WebTreePro, WordPress, Storyblok, Optimizely) and related systems.
  • Partner with Business Analytics to lead implementation of a new website platform, including long-term plan to consolidate CDx's site.
  • Project manage key marketing website and social site initiatives and improvements to support lead generation efforts and coordinate multiple cross functional stakeholders.
  • Manage the ongoing, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of analytics including highlights, lowlights, and market insight to help guide our investments in marketing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain the CDx marketing campaigns analytics dashboard (executive summary) in cooperation with Marketing Program Managers and marketing support agencies.
  • Support troubleshooting of issues with cross-functional teams and resolution to minimize business impact.
  • Translate marketers' feedback and needs of marketing tools into process or product solutions and partner with relevant LGC CDx departments and external suppliers to see through prioritization and execution.
  • Make recommendations on SEO/SEM based on data insights garnered through regular CDx and Competition audit and review.
  • Make recommendations on key campaign performance improvements including integrated content marketing tactics, direct marketing email, digital advertising, social media advertising and campaigning.
  • Develop and manage the Marketing Operations tactical plan, laying out the plan for support of key programs, and development of systems and process. Work closely with external digital advertising agency to analyze and report on paid advertising measurements.

  • Travel, including overnight and international (potential) to support the multi-site infrastructure of the BU.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with marketing operations and marketing analytics.
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience with and a solid understanding of marketing operations, including marketing automation systems (Bloomreach, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Marketo, Adobe Marketing Cloud, etc.) interoperating with website content management systems, promotional campaigns, email marketing, PPC, SEO & SEM.
  • Track record of supporting successful demand generation programs from campaign concept to reporting and analysis.
  • Specific experience designing and implementing marketing automation (Bloomreach, Hubspot or similar) and associated processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and ROI driven; including experience reviewing campaign performance results and making recommendations for future action.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics Demonstrated knowledge of and experience applying SEM and SEO concepts.
