There is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Housekeeping Supervisor for the luxurious Level Hotel nestled in South Lake Union. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the property. The Supervisor supervises the housekeeping and laundry department efficiently to maintain standards and control costs.

What Will You Do?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining pristine level of cleanliness throughout suites and property.
• Monitors the preventative maintenance of the property.
• Creates and maintains a highly motivated and customer orientated team that exceed the level of customer service set out.
• Assists in managing, maintaining and controlling housekeeping labor costs.
• Assists with the in house laundry oversight, purchasing, inventory, and labor controls
• Inspects guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned to ensure quality standards.
• Runs room reports, verifies room status, determines discrepant rooms, prioritizes room cleaning, and updates status of departing guest rooms.
• Ensures all rooms are available for sale and all deficiencies are amended.
• Acts as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Manages and monitors all guest request to ensure they are met and document and resolves issues with discrepant rooms with Guest Services.
• Oversees and manages properly track lost and found.
• Manages, hires, trains, assist with schedules, motivates, assist with coaching and performance managing housekeeping employees.
• Reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensures employees follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.

What You Bring: 

• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
• Basic reading skills
• Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task
• Possess basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures
• Ability to speak Vietnamese considered an asset
