Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Bilingual (Spanish/Creole/French) Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy services to clients who are possibly primarily Spanish-speaking. You will work collaboratively with clients to identify and address their mental health concerns, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify mental health concerns and determine appropriate treatment plans
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to primarily Spanish/Creole/French-speaking clients
• Collaborate with clients' families, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in the field

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in MHC
• Full licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience working with primarily Spanish-speaking clients
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Licensed in NYS
