Job Description
This sales representative sells products, services and supplies to select customers in a designated market area or accounts via inbound or outbound telephone contacts. The person in this position may have account responsibility with quotas. Limited field activity may occur, but only on an infrequent basis.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Quote jobs
- Close the sales on assigned products, or may generate leads for outside sales staff.
- Pro-actively sell to installed-base in support of company promotion and upgrade campaigns.
- Provide work leadership to other inside sales representatives as needed.
- Collaborate with and support field sales.
Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 5 years related experience.Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time. Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Effective at written and verbal communication. Requires substantial industry and product knowledge. Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
The Compensation range for this position is approximately $60K to 85K and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.
