Lena Park Community Development Corporation is Hiring an Adminstrative Assistant Near Dorchester, MA

Lena Park Community Development Corporation is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant, to perform a variety of administrative, programming, and clerical tasks at Lena Park. This position will work closely with Lena Park Programming to ensure that the Lena Park community receives a high level of customer service.

The duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our program team and LPCDC employees and Board Members, assisting in daily office needs and managing administrative activities. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include making meeting arrangements, maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communications skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like Microsoft Office as well as standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

· Answer and direct phone calls

· Organize and schedule appointments

· Plan meetings and take detailed minutes

· Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms

· Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

· Maintain office policies and procedures.

· Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers

· Maintain contact lists

· Provide administrative support to the residential service team, including attending meetings, training and site visits.

· Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.

· Liaise with other administrative assistants to handle requests and queries.

Requirements

· Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant

· Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines

· Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
