Description
The Site Security Manager is responsible for implementing policies, procedures, and processes to provide physical security support for the construction of a DoD SCIF. Work performed at a higher level may include implementing and providing guidance to customers and management personnel on physical security issues such as security training, regulatory requirements, security policies and procedures and emerging trends in physical security and or other security related areas. Also, provide Operations Security (OPSEC) support in accordance with customer’s OPSEC Program.
COMPLEXITY: Problems typically involve multiple issues, areas, or specialties. Identify potential improvements in programs, processes, and recommend solutions to enhance results that include OPSEC concerns.
COMMUNICATION: Communicates with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. May communicate with parties external to the organization (e.g., sub-contractors, vendors, etc.). Works to provide input/feedback to leaders regarding procedure, process and/or approaches to security.
