Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Engineering Project Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will lead a team of engineers and scientists developing a next generation, on-the-move counter-UAS weapon system. You will work with government and industry stakeholders to develop and refine requirements, conduct program reviews, manage procurement and manufacturing, develop test plans, conduct developmental and field testing.Basic QualificationsBachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution12 years of technical experience in the defense/aerospace industry or 10 with MS degree5 years’ experience managing technical programs that involve design, development, integration and testing in the defense industry.Experience planning, coordinating, and implementing field system testing and demonstrations.Experience developing and refining weapon system-level requirements, following system-level requirements to major end items, and allocating requirements to lower-level specifications.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer interaction and presentation skillsCandidates must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.Must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.Original Posting Date:2024-04-25While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
