Summary
Finance and Facilities Division, Redstone Facilities Services Section (RFSS) is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to support construction project management on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. RFSS is responsible for over $2B dollars of active construction projects. The RFSS mission is to build facilities which will enhance the FBI's capabilities, provide enterprise facilities services to the FBI workforce, and facilitate a cooperative partnership with other Redstone Tenants.

Duties
Responsible for project management of major construction and renovation projects for FBI on Redstone Arsenal, from the planning and budgeting stages to final construction and occupancy.
Conduct capital project management, including developing and executing budget requests, as well as scheduling, prioritizing, and monitoring contractor performance for assigned projects.
Review contract plans and specifications for compliance with appropriate building codes and project requirements.
Review and analyze cost reports, review project progress, measure performance, and take necessary corrective actions to maintain agreed-upon schedule and cost for project life cycles.
Identify, analyze, and prioritize risks associated with projects. Control identified risks through the process of project planning and monitoring.
Manage the change process for assigned project to include cost estimates, proposal technical review, constructability of change and impact of change on budget and schedule and stated Program of Requirements.
Support the Contracting Officer through the management of schedule and performance tracking to include documented performance issues that may feed into Letter of Concern, directed changes, delays and other issues that may become part of the CPARS record.

Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Qualifications
GS-13: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
Demonstrated experience with supporting active construction projects to include plan review, design comment review, schedule analysis and management, change order management and budget controls.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with construction means and methods, requirements development, knowledge of construction safety and building codes, and knowledge of quality control/assurance practices.
Desired Skills
Desired skills are NOT mandatory and will NOT be utilized to minimally qualify applicants.
Desired Skills are:
FAC-Project Management certification preferred or FAC-COR cortication preferred.
