Legal Services of North Florida is hiring a full-time Director of Philanthropy. Be a part of a non-profit law firm, with 110 employees in seven offices across North Florida, that seeks legal justice while understanding the value of work-life balance. This position is responsible for the oversight, planning, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive fundraising program to secure significant financial resources from individuals, foundations, and others to support LSNF's mission. This staff member manages all major gift functions, including planned giving, donor engagement, fundraising campaigns, and fundraising event coordination. The Director of Philanthropy supervises the Donor Services Coordinator and event volunteers supporting philanthropic programming. Along with LSNF's Executive Director, the Director of Philanthropy supports the Board of Directors by staffing the Development Committee. The Director of Philanthropy will also work closely with the Communications and Pro Bono department staff on events and giving campaigns.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university and a minimum of three years of experience in fundraising for a nonprofit organization. Key aptitudes for this position are project management experience, strong organizational skills, ability to set objectives, strong writing skills, and ability to motivate donors, volunteers, and philanthropic partners. Experience with a capital campaign is preferred.
